E-Library of law department launched, HC decisions will be available on one click

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Abdul Haq inaugurated the Library of Law Department (e-Library) in the Civil Secretariat Jammu. Now the court decisions will be available at a click of the mouse. The law minister said that since the renovation of the library, law officers and other officers will be able to get information about new decisions of any court of the country, including high courts and the Supreme Court.

With the availability of e-books and e-resorts, it will help to read the Supreme Court and the High Court’s most recent decisions. The Law Minister said that the court verdicts from the e-Library will be available on one click of the button.

They also assured all possible assistance for upgradation of the library level and renewal. Law Secretary Abdul Majid Bhatt, Additional Law Secretary Achal Sethi and other senior officials of the Law Department were present.
