Incorrect TDS Reported By Bank And Delay In Correcting It

Hello, A multi national bank I have an account with, reported TDS to the IT Dept. which I got to know only when I got questioned by IT for not reporting that income. I followed up with the bank and they told me that they will look into it. They did not work on it, and I had to follow up continuously for about a month and a half. I even escalated the matter to their senior management. They even gave an explanation with incorrect details of deposits held by me on which interest was accrued (via emails). Finally they agreed that it was a mistake on their part. Now I want to sue them and ask for compensation. I would like to know how much compensation can be demanded. Regards Abbas
