We had one property and we mortgaged it to another person for 1/4 value of the property and took that money for Medical surgery purpose. We are unable to pay the amount, so those guys went to court and the judge has given judgment to pay 1/4 money + 1% interest rate. How much amount we have to pay for the High Court to get Stay for this decree. For Example: Court has given decree for 44L. We would like to know:- If we want to challenge court decree in High Court how much amount we have to deposit in High court. or Our property will be good enough to get the court stay order to postpone the auction without any money deposit. Thanks in advance.

It is a fishy question. Every state has its own different tariff for court fee. Contact the lawyer practising the concerned High Court to get the accurate knowledge. But this much is sure that court may give you relief if you surrender the mortgaged Property..
