remember please. there may be illegitimate parents but, not children. because no chaild wants to born illegitimate but, the parents have knowledge and the consequences. law recognises all the children of a father are equally irrespective of gender, legitimate, cast or religion. both you and your step brother (better not to say him is illegitimate henceforth) were treated equally in the eye of law. you can not evade his share from your father's or ancestors property.
