I want the surname of my daughter to get changed in Birth Certificate issued by 2007 Rourkela Municipality, Dist. Sundargarh, Odisha on 09.03.2007. Now I reside in Greater NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh. Whether I would have to approach Rourkela Municipality, Odisha or It can be changed in Greater NOIDA, U.P. itself .

You cannot change the surname in birth certificate unless it's a clerical error.. You can change in all other certificate after obtaining Court declaratory order.. for further assistance plz book for consultation..

first u approch NOIDA Municipality. u have to give personal affidavit to change name with showing reason for that.
