Your mother is liable ,so she should contest the case with proper defence
Dear client, Reply that notice through lawyer and contest the cheque bounce case in court.
Dear Sir, You must take appropriate defence for your mother or directly go to the High Court and get quash such cheque bounce case saying that the said cheques were misused by her husband. Please mark “LIKE” if satisfied by my answer.
No doubt that dead person cannot be prosecured but since the Cheques being issued on behalf living person does have the accountability.
