Community Certificate Issue

Sir/Madam , I have some Doubts Regarding my Community Certificate. I am a Child of a Inter Caste Marriage Couple. My Father is ST and Mother Belongs to OBC. I have a OBC Certificate for Me Not ST. My First Doubt is Can a a person have Mother's Caste in case of inter Caste Marriage? My Father is Facing a Case in Court Challenging that he isn't Originally ST but has falsely Claimed to be ST. That Case in Court for the past 20 Years. Now I am Planning to Write UPSC Civil Services Exam Under OBC Quota (Not in ST Quota). And If I Get Selected , DOPT Will Verify My Community Status. Will there be any Problem during that time just because my father is having a Case in Court ?
