Recently I came to know that my own lawyer is working in hand glove with opposite party. She was pursuing the case with laxity and was deliberately delaying the case despite several verbal request to her to take the case with sincerity. She was fooling around with me as I am not cognizant about the procedure and laws. By such act she has wasted my time and money and caused me severe mental agony. I have decided to change her but what if she doesn't give the NOC. What the procedure to file a complaint against the lawyer to the bar council?and what are the documentary evidence required for it?? Can she take up the case of opposite party if I remove her. An honest opinion is solicited from respected members.

Normally they will give NOC on demand.. otherwise u can file complaint against them in petition format with a DD of Rs.1000/- .. u can get the format in internet.. and also see the procedure. however these type of feeling is more prevalent these days.. think twice and also enquire the local bar about ur counsel's reputation.. in my experience i came across many such experience suffer by my colleagues.. about 60-70% are only due to misunderstanding.. If the speedy disposal of ur case is the only grieveince u can file a petition before the high court for expeditious disposal of ur case.. for which u can engage a different lawyer in high court..
