under Domestic Violence Act u have absolute right to stay in ur in-laws house.. no one can evict u.. but u can restrict them. u can evict a non family member (coparcenar). or u can get stay to enter into ur room.. moreover u can claim maintenance.. if ur husband disappears u can claim from ur father in law.. more obviously u obtains a share in their property.. however it depends upon the facts.. Pooja first of all tell me what is the nature of this house , is this house self acquired property of your inlaws or parental property? if it is a self acquired property of your in-laws you do not have right in this property. and other hand if this property is parental property you have right to stay only..
