ID Card Issue related to Duplicasy

Question

I work in court. I went to laminate my dept ID card to shop where he kept the card for 1 day and gave it next day. I m not sure if he has kept a copy of it for any kind of misuse. If he does, am I responsible for it or only he will be charged for any kind of misuse. Please i am in a bug confusion that if there is a misuse who will be the accused.
