INVESTED WITHOUT AGREEMENT CAN I FILE A CASE USING VOICE AND VIDEO RECORD

Respected sir/madam, I am vinodh 2years back I had invested 8lakhs with my friend and he promised me 3% per month after one year as he promised he returned the money back with interest later last year he asked me 20lakh out of his loyalty I had given money without agreement now he is strictly saying that he cant pay my money back. can I launch a case against him. I don't have an agreement I only have call voice record and video records. I had transferred him money to his bank account through NEFT MODE kindly help me
