Joint Property

My father owns self acquired properties in his name and his son name. My brother has not paid a single money towards property his name was added in sale dad by my father only so his son will look after him. Now my brother is neither taking care of him nor is willing to give back his 50% share that is not ready to handover the entire property to my father . Can filling case in court help us .
