Am I eligible for non-creamy layer OBC. My father works in IFFCO (it's not a central or state govt. org. neither it is a PSU, it is cooperative), My father's income apart from salary is 2 lakh per annum and he has no agricultural land in his possession. His annual salary is 30 lakh though but as per the DoPT memorandum, his service is under Type VI criteria under which income apart from salary and Agri land is considered and salary income is not considered. So am I eligible for an NCL OBC certificate?

Presently, those with annual parental income (excluding earnings from farming, agriculture land, etc.) of â‚¹8 lakh and above are not eligible for reservation benefits
