Hi, I am Rajat. I want to purchase a property whose owner has died in 2016. He left his wife (Age: 35) and one girl child (Age: 9). He was the sole owner of his house until his death. Now, his wife is the owner. Now wife don't want to live with the parents of her husband so she moved to her mother's home with her girl child. But the father of his husband do not want to sale the home. What should I do now. Will I face legal trouble if I purchased the house.

Dear Sir, The minor must be represented by natural guardian and if property belongs to minor you have to get Court permission.

Is it self earned Property of the Owner or inherited need to be checked. Does Owner parents were dependent on owner is another aspect to be checked. Either case in the given case parents will also have share in the property. Further check in whose name property is there .
