Hi, I am Ganesh from Chennai. My wife got admission through Neet in SRM dental college and was quoted 8.4lacs p.a as fees for course. Thereafter it seems that a 2nd round Neet admission was taken by SRM college taking students for same course at 6.4lacs p.a. In this regard I had requested via a letter to Board/Management requesting for reduction in my wife's college fee. But no response since 6-8months is given on this letter of request. Can I proceed legally in this case? please help me. Thanks.

send a complaint to Directorate of Collegiate Education EVK Sampath Building, 9th Floor, College Road, Chennai-6 via regd post.. if no response within 15 days u can file writ petition in Madras High court seeking refund..

The college can't charge discriminatory fee from its students. You may send a legal notice to the college. For online drafting and sending legal notice. Regards.
