High court has power to quash FIR. But quashing is an extraordinary measure.. Only if sufficient ground is there.. Depends on the facts. can't say general opinion..
I agree with Mr. Yati HC normally does not quash the FIR but they have power to do so under section 482 of the Cr.P.C. It completely depends on the docs and advocates capability to represent his case.The court may also stay the proceedings.
Dear Abhay, Normally the High Court does not quash any FIR unless there are specific grounds for the same. It depends upon how far you and your lawyer succeed in convincing the High Court that there are no specific grounds for quashing the FIR.
