Boy Graduation Faked Before Marriage

Our family married off my sister a year ago. Before marriage, they claimed the boy to be graduate and earning well, however after a month ago it was found that the boy wasn't a graduate (was instead 12th Pass) and was earning under EWS category. Now my family and myself are devastated over the fraud done to us. Can you please let us know, if we file a case, how much challenges we are going to face to get separated as soon as possible.
