My wife have filed 498a against me and iI have filed a divorce case as well. My wife is now saying that i must give 1kg of gold in return. Which she says that she have given to my mother Before she came to join me in uk. The actual fact is. She made a document showing a proof 800gms of gold as asset for visa purposes to uk. And she is showing this document as proof against me. Moreover the marraige is done without my parents or any of my friends knowing. I need to know if the above said document is valid in court. Namasthe, when you have got married is your marriage solemnized with out your parents is it a Facebook marriage you cannot file a case with out proper documentary evidence to prove your marriage first of all even if she has a 498A case against you the ounus of proof is on to prove your and your parents cruelty on her, and more over the court seeks the documentary evidence, above all to prove a case.
