    For Divorce by Mutual consent it would take 6-8 months as 6 month we have statutory waiting period. it can be waived for specific reasons. in that case it can be finished in lesser time

    Dear Mr.Ramanathan, Procedure for mutual consent divorce is shorter than divorce filed on other grounds. For mutual consent it will take 6 months minimum and for otherwise it will take whole life till SUPREME Court in some cases. So before going into divorce, please think it again and try to settle amicably.
