Divorce & Property Share

Father was working as an eye technician, retired recently, getting a pension. Mother Govt school teacher, currently working. I have one sister and she is studying BE. I'm married women, Hindu religion. My father has many affairs with other women, he is not caring for my mom and my sister, not even supported from the beginning. My father gifted ancestry property to my mother and she was gifted to me and my sister in jointly. I'm taking care of my mother, recently started to construct a house after the retirement of my father from his retirement benefits fund but he is troubling us more, we can't live with him anymore. my mother saying to go for Divorce. 1. currently me, my husband, my father, and mother are living with me in a rental house, if my mother goes for Divorce is need to share gifted property back to him? 2. If no divorce, is my father has any right to object if I and my sister going to sell the property which my mother gifted to us?
