I live in the US and recently there were a few disturbances in my family life. My wife started to talk with one of her old friends and she says she likes him and wants to leave me. We have a 2-year-old son and I don't really want to lose my wife for two reasons. 1) I love her. Also, there are no sufficient reasons for her to leave me. We got counseling from a therapist and the Therapist feels that my wife is immaturely acting up on small issues that could exist between any married couple and she is being really stubborn saying she wants to leave. The therapist feels my wife has border-line personality disorder which makes her really unstable in any relationship. 2) I don't want my kid to miss his mother's love while he is growing up. I have assets both in the US and India. If files a divorce case in India, I would like to know. 1) How do I protect myself from not getting a divorce. 2) In case divorce is inevitable, can she claim a share in my assets. None of the properties in India are in her name

Dear Sir, Wife not entitled for any share in husband's property but entitled for only alimony if she is not having her own sources of income. However, husband is liable to pay 50% of child expenses. Please mark “LIKE” if satisfied by my answer.
