I am 30 years old and married just 6 months before, I recently diagnosed (after marriage) with lymphoma cancer which is highly curable and chemotherapy is going on and the treatment has a very good response. Before marriage, I once got admitted to a hospital for abdominal pain, so the doctor had done FNCA(kind of biopsy) and then it is told that I have a lump which is caused because of some infections and this lump goes off in a couple of months. Since the lump did not reduce after a few months then I again went to the hospital (after marriage) this time doctors confirmed that I have cancer. I have all the reports related to this illness (reports before and after marriage). Medical reports which are before marriage doesn't have/confirm that I have cancer. but medical reports/diagnosis after marriage confirmed that I have cancer My wife is asking for a divorce 1 Will the court take this scenario in the petition and approve for divorce. 2 Will the court ask me to pay any amount to her after divorce.

Since the disease is highly curable and treatment is also having and showing good response, the court will take into consideration all the factors and will also give due relief to you. your wife is not entitled to get divorce from you and secondly, giving maintenance amount to your wife has not any way related to your divorce. its van independent right of every wife
