One person fraudulently took my relative's Aadhar card and pan card information. (That person used to meet with us). She took a loan from a company which offers personal loans (Not a bank) and made my relative the guarantor. My relative came to know when recovery agents started harassing her asking to repay the loan. My question 1) What action can be taken against the individual who used my relative's Aadhar and PAN card. 2) My relative never did any bio-metric and never signed any KYC and never consented to become a guarantor. She was not even aware that she has become a guarantor. Is the financial company at fault when they did not intimate about my relative. Their response "We give loans on the basis of documents submitted online through their app."

Make a report with the financial authority which granted loan without the written consent of the guarantor at all its Administrative levels. Also file a complaint with the Ombudsman and the Police for this act of the loanee. You have a good case and you will succeed.
