YouTube Counter Notification Lawsuit

I'm a student who's video was stolen when I had submitted a video for an internship, it was published online for advertisement purpose. I had taken it down on copyright grounds on YouTube. The person that stole it filed a counter-notification against my claim and now YouTube has given me 10 days to file a lawsuit to keep the video down. How much will it cost me to file a lawsuit. Is it worth it. because the video had only 500 views. Will I earn anything from it if I win the case. Please help me out as my financial status isn't good. Thank you.
