    Madam, Notarized Affidavit would not be correct way . For the reason any body can get an Affidavit stating that she was the wife of so and so. What you need to do is you have file a Declaration suit in Civil Court by producing all marriage photos , Invitation card and one or two statements witness of Your parent and your in laws and get an Judicial Order. Upon Receiving the order you get the marriage Certificate

    Dear Madam, Marriage cannot be registered after the death of your husband however you can file an affidavit which is notarized before public notary and use it as marriage proof.
