No, you can't get a marriage certificate after death but you can get a survival certificate.
Madam, Notarized Affidavit would not be correct way . For the reason any body can get an Affidavit stating that she was the wife of so and so. What you need to do is you have file a Declaration suit in Civil Court by producing all marriage photos , Invitation card and one or two statements witness of Your parent and your in laws and get an Judicial Order. Upon Receiving the order you get the marriage Certificate
