    Hi Chaitanya, So there are 2 things: Firstly if the spouse has deserted for a continuous period of 2 years it will serve as a ground for divorce Secondly, as in your case, i.e. mutual divorce, you can file it after 1 year of marriage and then between first motion and 2 nd motion there is a waiting period of 6 months.
