Asked in Marriage
Dear Divya, For a legal and lawful marriage in the eyes of law, the boy should be of 21 years and girl should be of 18 years. There are few other conditions also but this considering your above replies, the girl has not attained the age of 18 years yet. It is advisable for her to attain the age of 18 first. Furthermore, in India court marriage is not compulsory. Saptpati (7 pheras) in Hindus is required, but you can also get court marriage done to avoid further problems. Regards, Kajal Bhatia
it does not take much time to get married. the marriage can be done in a day and the same can be registered within*Phone*days from the date of marriage before the local SDM office.
Min age criteria to be fulfilled, with protection from high court to secure future possible concerns. you may contact for further process
Ms. Divya, the process is different for couples of same or different religion. if you are above 18 and the boy whom you want to marry is above 21, then a marriage done legally cannot be challenged by anyone. for the situation you are in, it's advisable to take legal help.
