Surname Change Of Spouse Post Marriage

After the declaration of the court there's a name change.

Other than Passport for all other Document for change in affidavit with News paper Publication us enough. But change in Passport one has to file a Declaration Siut in District court and get Judicial Order for the Same. Contact any Advocates in this Forum for your relief

It is a common practice in Hindu society. Ladies do write both surnames. You may also follow that tradition. But the Voter Records and Passport cannot be changed being the constitutional identities. it will not effect but it will be better to give a publication in a newspaper to avoid any kind of problem
