My grandfather's Land after his death(without will) has been transferref to my father with mutual agreement from his sister. Now can my father gift it to anyone? Or he needs the approval of his dependents( children)

Dear Sir, It is your father's self acquired property and not ancestral property since it has been not acquired from last four generations. Your father is at liberty to gift away to anybody.
