Partition Rural

My father has applied for partition through lawyer (because he is in defence and posted at border) of lands situated in two different villages. But after few months my lawyer said to my father that he actually was asked service for partition for land one village only. But yesterday I checked UP vaad website of that village land in which my lawyer claimed that he wasn't asked for that particular village land partition , it showed that case dismissed due to 'vaadi anupasthit, summon pairvi nhi, patiksha notice taamil, case nirast'. Why did lawyer told lie ? Was he not present in hearing ? Because for other village, court allowed prelim decree despite my father was not there personally as he is unable because of his profession.
