Has it been mentioned in the offer letter. If yes, You have your inherent right to claim. Even otherwise the law is very clear on the point. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and contact me telephonically for further discussion and explanation if required.

Mr. Kuldeep, Did your offer letter had a clause of 3 months notice period? If yes, you are bound to give 3 months notice. As a solution I can suggest you that in lieu of 3 months you may request that you may pay some amount, which is usually a clause in the letter that if employer terminates you without giving a months notice or so, he has to pay for that months salary. Or You may request extension from IIM in view of Covid-19. Best,

The present employer can not stop you. So join the IIM immediately and explain them the details. Meanwhile you can approach your present company for the experience letter. In case still they not agreed then issue a legal notice.
