I'm really sorry to hear about the difficult situation your sister is facing. It sounds like a complex and sensitive matter that may require professional intervention. Here are a few suggestions on how you can approach this situation: Safety first: Ensure that your sister is in a safe environment and receiving the necessary support. If she is in immediate danger or experiencing any form of abuse, encourage her to reach out to local authorities or helpline services for assistance. Support networks: Encourage your sister to seek support from trusted friends, family members, or support organizations specializing in domestic abuse. These networks can provide emotional support, guidance, and resources for her to navigate the situation. Evidence collection: If your sister decides to pursue legal action or file a complaint against her husband, it is important to gather any evidence of the abuse or mistreatment. This may include photographs, messages, emails, or any other documentation that can support her claims. Counseling or therapy: Encourage your sister to seek professional counseling or therapy to address the emotional trauma she may be experiencing. Mental health professionals can provide valuable support and help her cope with the challenges she is facing. Moving ahead you can file a criminal complaint against your sisters husband under section 12 of domestic violence act for abusing your sister. Can also include Section 498 of IPC for this matter more so filing a divorce petition under section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act would be great for your sister and you can also claim maintenance under section 125 CRPC

If the behaviour of your sister's husband is intolerable towards her then she can also anytime forward a complaint regarding her grievances in writing to the police station according to her jurisdiction. And if she wishes to go legal then she can also file a petition under Section 12 Domestic Violence Act or Section 125 CrPC and claim maintenance for herself. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship she should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
