The Branch has never solved my problems despite frequent requests despite my approaching and contacting them.I am sending the copy ,the original of which is with me.But I unless there is in principle acceptance of the solution there is no point going there which is a wastage of my time and money. There have been several correspondences which they can depend upon for taking a decision. I attach the photo copy of the receipt which was stated to be matured on 18-10-2013 but closed in the ledger on 18-04-2012 without any intimation. The address is very much evident on the receipt. The renewal should be from the date of unintimated maturity I.e18-04-2012 as it is non of my fault that I did not turn up to Bank in time as the prior action was not intimated to me.     To, Sri Biswabhusan Sarangi A/502,Supertech Aptts,Kaushambi,Ghaziabad,                                                                                                Dt-04.12.2017. Yashoda Speciality Hospital.  पà¥à¤°à¤¿à¤¯ महोदय/ महोदया Dear Sir/Madam, This has reference to your complaint as above followed by a series of correspondences between you and the Bank.It is learnt that you have disputed the date of maturity of your Tax Savings deposit which was 18.04.2012 as per your mandate in the account opening form and as per Govt. notification (Fixed period of 5 years to get tax benefit) against which it has inadvertently written as 18.10.2013. It is further learnt that you were in the service of our Bank as on both the dates as an officer in Scale –III category and the above anomaly should have been brought to the knowledge of the Bank immediately. Instead you have 1     Not intimated the Bank of such anomaly out of unwarranted clerical error at the branch level within first five years. 2     Not intimated the Bank even after completion of 5 years  i.e. 18.04.2012 which was the maximum period upto which a deposit under Tax Savings Scheme can be taken. 3     Not intimated the Bank even after 18.10.2013 i.e. the date which has been inadvertently put on the certificate till the date of your retirement/resignation. 4     You first brought the anomaly to our notice on 19.02.2016 through your complaint. 5     You have presumably availed the Tax benefit on the deposit. 6     You have not yet presented the Deposit Receipt for payment. The above actions (and remaining silent) knowing very well the mistakes committed by the branch suggests that you could have rectified it much before the date of your complaint. Accepting the period of deposit beyond five years is tantamount to violation of Govt. guidelines and paying you an amount more than that eligible under the scheme or renewal if any, is not feasible merely because of the above clerical errors which you knew very well being posted as an officer of the Bank and that too under CBS regime. On the above backdrop you are requested 1.     To let us know on the status of Income Tax benefit availed by you on the said deposit. 2.     To give an undertaking to the effect that the mistake was not within your knowledge during your tenure in our Bank. We request you to please give your submission on the above queries  and presen
