One of my known is asking me to provide a certificate for photos of his family (him, wife, and 1 year kid at the time) that I shot during one of the trips that his family and my family went together. He has presented those as evidence in his case (his wife committed suicide). I am not sure if that will put me into any kind of legal liability. He is saying that If I don't provide him the certificate then there are chances that lawyers may call me to court. I don't want to be part of this problem as I work 2000 KM away from his place. Please advise what to do?

The Certificate is required has got to be proved by you by way of your personal appearance in the Court as witness. And even if you don't issue such Certificate he may site You as witness and Court may summon you through official Order. Thus, let him prove that Photograph himself by his own source. Because that Photograph does not have any Evidentiary value without Your involvement.
