Advise On Denial To Be A Witness.

One of my female friend "P" was in a relationship with a guy named "V", "V" was also dating another girl "A". "A" found out about the relationship with "P" and also found that "V" was already married. "A" immediately registered FIR against "V" stating that "V" forced her to make physical relationship by making false promises of marrying her. "V" also physically assaulted her. In this process "A" mentioned the name of my friend "P" that "P" also had a relationship with "V". My friend "P is terrified to go to police and discuss her personal details of the relationship. There is no accusation against my friend in FIR, will police still question my friend, can she deny to appear in the police station, because she does not want to testify against/in favour of this guy.
