    you should file a complaint before the judicial magistrate in which jurisdiction cheque has dishonoured . when you have informed the bank that your cheque has dishonoured , you shall give a notice for demanding cheque amount within a period of 15 days from the author of cheque. This notice shall be given within a period of 30 days from the knowledge of dishonour of cheque.
