I lodged a complaint against a travel agent for cheating 3,50,000 INR in Kolkata. He was arrested and jailed for about 3 months. Now he is out on bail. How can i demand my money from him through legal notice.. Kolkota police has not intimated me anything like charge sheet or feedback

Do you have your case number?? Legal Notice doesn't work all the time, instead you should track your case and see in which stage it is. Make an application under RTI for the Charge Sheet before the concerned Police Station. Also make an application to the SP, SSP or Commissioner of Police regarding the status of investigation of your case.

Dear Sir, You can enquire in the concerned court in respect of related case. If he has any properties then you can file a civil case and get attachment before judgment order.
