Do the following: 1. contact the local Police station and inquire. 2. if that doesn't work, approach the local Magistrate Court to inquire. 3. if that doesn't work, write a letter to the DCP or the head of your local police station. 4. A last resort can be a writ to the HC. as far as meeting is concerned, you can meet the person in jail after fulfilling due procedure. regards,
if any person is arrested by police. it is duty of police to contact relatives of accused person and produce him before judge/ magistrate within 24 hours. you can also file missing report in police station near you. if it's more than 24 hours in police custody and police don't give you information about person, you can file Writ in High Court. for further assistance contact me at 9888664900
but you have to give id proof and also relationship with accused or culprit.
