In 379 IPC No Need To Go For 482 Crpc

A customer bag was sealed by mall employee before entrance into Mall and then customer entered in Mall (store) & at the time of exit door of Mall (like big bazaar, reliance fresh) the employee used to see a seal on customer bag if seal lock is on the bag he will allow the customer to exit from Mall. After exit suddenly an employee had cut the seal on the bag & In bag 3 cloth & 4 packets of food are found inside the bag ( Maybe he was watching CCTV & employee call the police & he put FIR U/S 380 IPC. The customer got jail & bail & trying to make a compromise with the store manager. Police ask to go for 482 quash.& had met customer `s relative to an advocate for 482 & Advocate demands above 95000 rupee fee for 482crpc.police asks accused relative while you are managing compromise I will delay chargesheet.challan is not filed. IF theft in Mall comes to U/S 379 IPC then no need for quashing. It can be done in lower court because 379 IPC is compoundable. And compromise will present in lower court no need to go High Court
