मुस्लिम कानून अंतर्गत तलाक के वक्त मैहर की रकम अदा की गयी हो तो न्यायलय सामान्यतः यह गौर करेगा की मेहर की रकम भरण पोषण हेतु पर्याप्त है अन्यथा तलाक के बाद भरण पोषण की अधिकारिणी है सामान्य कानून में।मुस्लिम विधि में तो नहीँ।

no,after divorce with or without her consent,wife is entitle for maintenance for the period of iddat which will be 3 months 10 days only,if she is pregnant than till delivery of child and also she can demand her meher and dowry. but in a latest case decision of kerala high court a woman get one time maintenance for the period of 10 or 15 years.
