Advocate ****** - Pocketed 10 Lakhs given to him for a case in Vizag In 2017 I had retained his services to file a case in Vizag against a mobile app developer. Advocate stated that to file this case I needed to pay him a total of 10 lakhs for his professional fees (3 Lakhs) and for the fees that were to be paid to the Vizag court (7 lakhs). After three years of waiting, I came to the conclusion that he never filed the case. He simply pocketed the entire amount. He never paid the Vizag court and continuously lied to me via email, phone and in person about the filing of the case and the progress of the case. He led me to believe for three years that the case was in progress, but the truth is that he never filed the case.

why r u not complaining write whole situation and send this complaint copies to.. Bat council of your state and a copy to bar council india. and File FIR and also complain send to bar association of that court. advocate has section 35,36,36B advocate also can be punish.

Hi, You can file a complaint against the lawyer in the respective bar council under Sections 35, 36 and 36B of the Bar Council Rules. Alternatively, you can also file a police complaint against the lawyer for cheating, fraud and misappropriation of your money under the Indian Penal Code, 1908.
