Motor Accident Criminal Case

I had a bike accident 3 yrs ago. The other party filed case only 2 months before for compensation. Also the police filed criminal case too and the hearing would be at magistrate court. Will the case be warrant or summons? Will i be taken to jail? What should i do if its warrant or summons? What is the procedure? How can i close the case in magistrate court without contesting if its warrant or summons?
