I filed a written complaint on 01 Dec 2025 at Police Station, Mumbai regarding misuse of POA, illegal occupation of company property, and diversion of rental income to a personal account. DEAR SIR, Application under Section 175(3) BNSS (formerly 156(3) CrPC) Since the police have failed to act, you can approach the Metropolitan Magistrate in Mumbai. Your advocate will file an application requesting the Magistrate to direct the police to register an FIR and investigate the matter. The Power: If the Magistrate is satisfied that a cognizable offense is made out, the police must register the FIR.
