Making false averment in the pleading pollutes the stream of justice. It is an attempt at inviting the Court into passing a wrong judgment and that is why it must be treated as an offence. Expedient in the interests of justice under section 340 Cr. P.C.: "Appeal from conviction"... you can file appeal.

If convicted then appeal is the remedy available itself. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.

Against conviction under section 340 Cr.P.C, you can file appeal. Remedies are available in Cr.P.C. itself.
