Even though u undertake not to contact ur parents, nothing will happen.. and u can recover the custody of the child at any time, unless there is an adverse court order..

you may try to avoid giving in writing, if not don't worry at all.. Even if u write those thing it won't have any evidentiary value.. He won't get any benefit out of it, u can deny the writing later.. so if giving in writing solves ur problem, just do it.. literally u won't lose any right out of it..
