i got married a woman who she is a advt. my engagement held on may 2016.my marriage is arranged marriage. my marriage held on Aug.2016. she lived only 2 days.she left me with her parents. first, she filed divorce petition against me. she attended one hearing and then she don't appear. In mean while, she married another man and living with him. that person also advt. she posted their pictures through whatsapp and facebook.now, she have a 4 month baby. she gave customary divorce last Feb.2016. she doesn't attend every hearing. so that notice disputed. now, we applied new divorce notice against her. she doesn't sign the notice.three or four times we sent notice but she didn't live in that address. my question is after i got divorce, may i file a private petition against her(advt) in women lawyer association or criminal court against her illegal behavior. may it favour to me? what is the procedure sir? Me and my family are cheated by her. kindly suggest sir...

only when the facts are made clear can give apt advice. what's the ground for divorce?.. besides even though u file any complaint nothing gonna give much trouble to her as u already divorced.. better forget the issue and look after ur life.. Gud luck

You can sue her!! Also you should forward a copy of your complaint to the Women Lawyer's Association

It is a case of bigamy. Section 494 in The Indian Penal Code 494. Marrying again during lifetime of husband or wife.â€”Whoever, having a husband or wife living, marries in any case in which such marriage is void by reason of its taking place during the life of such husband or wife, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine. Just file complaint against both. Immediately consult any advocate.
