I am living in flat on 10000 rent n I have given 25000 deposite. Now I am vacating the flat as the flat owner always talks me rudely. I had done registered agreement which has ended on 31 july 17 and it has not been renewed. I told him yesterday (19_08_17) that I am vacating the flat. Now he is asking for one month notice. But I told him that we have no active agreement so I need not to provide one month notice. What can I legely do to him if he doesn't return my security deposite in full?

Communication is the spirit for each and every solution in life. Request him to refund the deposit deducting rent for August.

Amicably settle the matter by vacating the flat by end of August or end of September in case of 1 month of notice and your time to shift to new place, both reciprocating towards your solution. Make the adjustments accordingly in the deposit and part away on a good note.
