During lockdown in April 2020, my two wheeler was impounded and the case was registered (IPC 188 269 270 271 290 366). In June they released the vehicle with an affidavit stating that I have to be present before the court when called.. now on 9th Nov, I have been asked to be present before the court. But at present, I'm working on a ship and will be available only after April 2021. Can my wife be present at court on behalf of me. Pls advice. Thanks
