Pay Protection To ESM In PSBs After Availing Only Age Relaxation

If an Ex-Serviceman (ESM) re-employed in a Central Government job using the ESM reservation quota after retirement from defence force, they are subsequently eligible only for age relaxation in future applications/ competitive examinations. If such an ESM then clear a examination of a Public Sector Bank (ex. SBI JA, IBPS Clerk , RRB Office assistant etc) as a general candidate by availing only age relaxation, and then he give resignation from central government and join Bank, then in this situation are they entitled for "Pay Protection" in their bank job based on their previous military service?
