My friend's father has made a false caste certificate on his name without taking him into confidence. Now he has got a govt job under general category and he didn't use that certificate for any purpose neither for education nor for any govt job. Is there any way he can get caught of procuring false caste certificate during background check or police verification?

The caste certificate is obtained when the government approves it, and the government authority initially records the certificate in government records before issuing it to you. While the benefits of the certificate have not been enjoyed by him, there is a chance that he may be liable for an offense for creating false documents.
